Hello Reader, Many of you are new here so we wanted to send a series of emails that explains how we grow. Here's the first. When we moved to our new farm in 2011, we were eager to expand our production and bring even more fresh food to market. But we quickly discovered a major problem—nothing would grow. Root crops? In our next email, we’ll share what we learned from an unexpected source and how it completely transformed our farm (and the food we grow for you!). Stay tuned, Your farmers, Michelle and Keith |

Hello Reader, Yes, still here but really enjoying the down time. A quick email for you today. Today, I made my dad's homemade caramel recipe. Fond memories of my childhood. Of course one of the ingredients, Karo syrup. I haven't used this stuff for a very long time. I wanted to pass along a tip. Some of you may know it but here we are. I substituted Golden Syrup for the Karo syrup. You can also use Brown Rice Syrup. Tastes amazing and a healthier substitute. So as you bake for the holidays...
